It can be difficult to separate meaningful work from the need for approval. Especially if you've spent years being told that your value depends on how useful you are. But your worth and your productivity are not the same thing.
You can care deeply about your work without making your work responsible for proving your value. Do what is yours to do today. Let that be enough.
