As we begin this next season of our publishing journey and are short on content, we will be sharing Verse of the Day devotions until we have enough article submissions to fill our editorial calendar. We hope you enjoy them! ~ Janel the CWP Editor-in-Chief
“ Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
— Galatians 6:9 NIV
Exhaustion can make us question everything.
Am I strong enough? Am I faithful enough? Shouldn't I be able to handle more?
Weariness is not always a character problem. Sometimes it's awareness. Perspective. Getting the correct information to make a better decision.
Your body may be telling you that something needs your attention. Your heart may be asking for rest. Your circumstances were never meant to be carried alone. But the fatigue can grind us down if we let it.
You can continue doing good without sacrificing yourself to prove it. Even God rested on the seventh day. Sometimes goodness is a nap so we can wake up refreshed to start again tomorrow.
💭 What would change if you treated your exhaustion as information instead of a personal failure?
