Fear can be a powerful tool. It can keep people obedient. Quiet. Dependent.
Afraid to ask questions. Afraid to leave. Afraid to disappoint.
Paul describes something profoundly different.
It's not slavery or terror. It's adoption. Belonging. Connection.
A relationship with Christ shouldn't keep you constantly wondering whether one wrong move will get you thrown away. Whatever you have been taught about God, It's worth remembering that fear is no longer the foundation of belonging.
