The July 2026 Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you for the blessing of a new day. For a fresh start. For a another chance.

Today feels unique, and yet, similar to so many mornings in the past. Sometimes the days blur together into weeks and months. We blink twice and a decade flies by.

It’s been said the days are long and the years are short. This must be what it feels like. We truly are dust amongst the Cosmos. A twinkle in Your eye.

Help us to see each moment as a new beginning. An opportunity to find the abundance in life that Christ promised us. Show us that we don’t have to wait until Monday or next month or when the moon turns blue. We can start now. With this fleeting breath.

To seek You. Find You. Cling to You. Question You. Challenge You like the Psalmists of old. And find peace as we wait with You.

Give us vision for our life.
Strengthen us to stand in that truth.
Guide our words to be grace seasoned with salt so they don’t fall on deaf ears.
Teach us how to say we’re sorry and ask for forgiveness… from our heart… when we fail.
Show us the difference between guilt and shame, then lead us to true repentance and help us release what was never ours to carry.

And Lord? Make it clear when to let go so You can You work Your plan, and when to hold on with everything in us. Because we seek Your clarity.

May Your love and grace fill our lives, each and every day.
