There are seasons when rest feels impossible. Your body may be tired but your mind keeps going. Maybe you've learned to stay alert because somewhere along the way, rest stopped feeling safe.
Today, remember this:
- Sometimes the holiest thing you can do is stop what you're doing and rest.
- Perfection is not required for you to find the Lord's peace.
- Breathe.
Let yourself be held by the God who stays awake when you cannot.
