Verse of the Day
As we begin this next season of our publishing journey and are short on content, we will be sharing Verse of the Day devotions until we have enough article submissions to fill our editorial calendar. We hope you enjoy them! ~ Janel the CWP Editor-in-Chief

“As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.”

— Psalm 103:13–14 NIV

God knows your limitations.

Your energy.

Your humanity.

Your capacity.

Your need for rest.

You don't have to convince Him that you are trying hard enough. You also don't need to hide your exhaustion to earn some kind of Jesus merit badge. He loves us just as we are.

He remembers that we're dust. His response is always compassion.

Not disgust.

Not contempt.

Compassion. Every time. Right now and forever.

Maybe today you can offer yourself a little of the same.
