Let's pray
Dear Lord, I thank you for another day
I thank you that you gave us grace
To get through the night
And your promises are renewed this morning
Lord, I thank you
The loved ones that we have, whether they're friends, family
People we've collected along the way
Those who encourage us, those who strengthen us
Those who inspire us and rally around us when we need it
And Lord, I pray for the woman right now
Who is in some of her darkest hours
And feels alone
Lord, I pray for her because I know what it's like to be in that dark valley where there's no hope where every dream vision
expectation
Desire has been crushed
Again and again
And again
And Lord, I pray for that woman
I pray for her
Lord, sometimes
I know in my story you have showed me
That there are times when I can't see what I need
And there's some times when I have pushed away the blessing
Then you brought me back around and you showed me
Had a look deeper
And Lord
For any woman listening
I pray that you would show her the same
And for any woman who's discouraged
Whether the deadline was moved, whether the
Opportunity fell through, whether something unexpected came up, whether it's tiny
It's huge.
that you would meet her
You know, when we talk about hope
Lord, I always default to the worst case scenario because you and I both know that I have seen some stuff
But Lord, there aren
There are people out there, women right now
That are feeling the little stuff and it's feeling overwhelming
And I want to take a moment and pray for those women
I ask that you
Touch their schedule, touch their day, touch their situation
Then I asked for you to
Send a little blessing.
To be with them
And remind them that even in the minor frustrations
That you are still there
And Lord, I pray for
The older women
Who have
Gone past childbearing and gone in their in their older years, they're in their retirement, they're worried about their finances, they're worrying about their health of their spouse
Their own health
Trying to find answers to problems that
All they find is dead ends. Lord, I want to pray for those women today
Because knowing there's got to be an answer
But you can't find it
It is so frustrating.
And later, we want to thank you that through each of these opportunities, these
There are opportunities, but they're frustrations, they're exasperation, they're
anger and and just
moments of blah that we don't have words for, that we're feeling things that we don't even understand
But I thank you that you do.
That you understand that you know that you are that you were there
Before this ever happened, you saw the little nudge of that thing over there...
that kicked off this whole train of events
And Lord, I pray
That you use that
To share a blessing
To offer encouragement
And I'm even asking for miracles
Because I've seen you do them
Lord, I just thank you for every woman listening right now
And I do ask you to give her the grace
and blessing
To get through this day
We thank you, Lord, for all you do and at every moment, in every situation
And we pray all of this in Jesus' name
Amen.
